Just watched the evening news and it looks like Vancouver island, especially Victoria and Nanaimo are gettin hit with the cold and the snow.

Hang on guys you will be playing golf and mowing lawns soon.

At least puddle jumpers used to this on the north end of the island.

rbh hes probably out shoveling his drive way. I wonder if they have snow shovels down there.

Yeah.....we are up to eyes in cold crap here right now. The wind is howlin the snow is stickin (2"-ish) and the temperature is a way down...something like -12?c tonight.
I feel pretty damn lucky in a way because I took the opportunity last friday night after work to blow out all the underground/outer watering lines in the garden. Yikes...they would have been toast had I left them for another day.
To top it all off, I caught a heavy cold so I am laid up for a couple of days.
Now, on the upside...supposedly thursday and friday are going to bring back the sun and back to positive temps.
Still, its always a blast here when it snows...the panic factor is right through the roof. 2" of snow on the ground and people are heading home at lunch, picking up the kids, packing into Kal tire to their winter tires.....hilarious.
Ahhhh, distance memories of Toronto and Ontario.

Got a call from my buddy last night asking if I had his 110vac cube heater, nope why????
His hot tub was not been running for a couple of day, and he was trying to save it before the pump and hoses blew.
To late I think.

Were about -4 right now and looking to get down to -8 tonight with snow. Then on Thursday its might rain.
