hey ems help tach wireing

tach connect at control is shot
do i need to cut into harness and find wires up front then rewire to tach .or come all the way from the back ,and wire a hot from bat and ground to fuse block with ign hot only and constant hot for lights and run my signal wire
forward to ?

If its just the connector that is bad you can cut it out and splice in the wires there at the remote.
