Thank You to all who take time from their personal life to help members out,
My 1st Force outboard 85hp ‘87’
I think it’s over propped 13/17 is getting 4500rpm@27mph Wot.17ft Bayliner bass. I assume previous owner should have dropped pitch as it’s a SS prop. But Do these take the type where you change the hub,or can you use a prop with a removable hub and wich kit will
I need,as far as the pressed hub type as long as the splines add up will it work even if it’s offs Mercury Yamaha etc. I ask as I never had 1 that wasn’t thru hub exhaust and I can’t tell by sellers pics if it’s through hub or not, most outboards aren’t is there a way to look at a prop and by the shape of the inside hub area be able to tell or does that not matter as long as splines add up. I have a flo torque hub kit off my last Mercruiser Alpha 1 in my toolbox.Btw If anybody has 1 for sale SS lmk.
sorry My post is long for a simple prop question but I’m buying used,no returns and I wana get it right
Thanks Again for anyone’s guidance
