hi 1983 175 cooling probs

i have a 175 thta i just put new lower on ran it at the river and pee stream was not as stong as it was ,im running new pump that was on other lower
its a sierra ive used both oem and sierra i use and oring under impellar
this time, and didint use it on old lower does it get one under impellar i know it gets one under cup between houseing and cup put new plate gasket and reused oring on houseing dont have the stream that i had think the oring under impellar and possible bad seal at houseing would do it it has stream and is not running hot by buzzer anyway but havent checkd head temps with gun pushes better water on hose . but thats because it is being pressurized.
should i drop lower redo pump check the flow from intake screen up and pull thermos and flush or what thermos and poppets are fresh.
thinkin about going completly back thru from pump to thermos .pulling heads checking deflectors and all what do ya think i should do ,thanks

bump come on guys i dont really want to tear it all down worried about my deflectors there new but im getting the fever to check the deflectors
and while im at get some really good heads some one stop me

You may have pinched the water tube grommet??

yes ya know i have a feeling its something like that may has smashed oring on houseing also .im gonna pull lower and check it all again , i used dawn to lube grommet and impellar uusualy work pretty good but have feeling itgrommet and oring on houseing .its all new and was really pumping on my other lower i got in hurry when i put loweron cause it was getting dark ,
