Hi: guys i would to ask about pop rivets they are outside on my bass boat

can some tell what i should i now i can drill them out but what should i put in holes to fill them seal. thank you

Is this a fiberglass or aluminum boat?

Do you know what they were put in there for?

Do you have any pictures so we can see what your talking about?

fiberglass they were used to hold cover on boat. i do have pic but im still lerning on this new comp.

Ok, they're "snaps".

I would just leave them, if you remove them and fill the holes you'll have to paint your boat... or leave it uglier than it was with the snaps on.

The best thing to do would be to go to an upholstery shop and have them make you a new cover so you could use the snaps again.

JIGNGRUB There not snaps they look like a (J) and they have rivet on top.

Anything ya use to fill the holes is gonna be very Visible...

i just redid the boat and sand carp. rewire.

I was thinking he's talking about the rivets used in a typical fiberglass boat to hold the cap (top half of the boat) onto the hull. But what doesn't add up is that those are always covered by the rub rail, so wouldn't be visible.
