hello everyone im new to this forum and new to boating only took one time out to catch the bug though LOL
i just bought a boat and i have no idea exactly what it is I KNOW I KNOW dont buy anything you dont about but i have known this boat for years it belonged to my best friends dad who passed away a few months ago (i lost my best friend 11 Years ago) his wife asked if i wanted to buy it so i bought it for 1000 dollars
it is a 1974 Starcraft 21 foot something i dont what and that is where i need the help
the model on the tag is hard to read but looks like 21 CUS I/O
it has 165 hp mercruiser A chevy straight six cylinder (which i rebuilt 5 years ago )
i want to look up a maitence manual for it because i have no idea how to check any thing out on this boat and i dont want to fry the outboard the first time i use it
i have attached 2 pics of it any help would be great
