hi guys question

i know this is the wrong forum but i posted this at the merc forum and nobody seems to want to reply a friend of mine wants to buy this boat its an 86mercury 150 xr2 it seems to be pumping water real good and it runns cool
and it starts fine but it beeps after you start it and it wont stop its like beep beep beep beep beep beep real fast i dont know much about it i dont have a book on yet but does anyone know what that means ? we just changed out the impeller and its still beeping what do you think 2500$ should we go for it ?

I don't know Mercury motors very well so will not attempt to diagnose.
You should really follow the post in the mercury forum. If you get no responses over a long period of time post a "Bump" post to bring it to the top of page one again and hopefully get the attention you need.
