Hi I need alittle help

I'm working on a 1978 mercruis I got spark from the coil but it's not sparking at the plugs

the solar reactors generator is on its way out .

seriously , you need to give more information , motor serial # or type .
did it just break down or did it sit and just not work when you went to start .
? what checks have you already done.

the more info the easier it is for you to get help.

guessing it could be the ground on the distributor . small black wire with a Philips screw holding it to the dizzy base.

I'm working on a 1978 mercruis 120 4cly it was running year ago when it was parked. I got spark from the coil but it's not sparking at the plugs

I checked the coil I checked for open circuits and broken wires I pulled the coil wire off the distributor put a plug in it turned it over and I had spark to that point

Ayuh,.... The spark goes from the coil tower, to the center of the distributor cap, where the rotor sends it out through the plug wire to the spark plug,....
