Hi, my name is Scott...

and I want to apologize for my abrasive way of "debating" around here. I'm trying to improve my life in quite a few ways. I'm trying to get in better shape physically. I am trying to be much more aggressive in my wealth building, and last, but certainly not least, I am trying to be NICER! It's hard, but I am trying to think before I type.

Those of you that I have made bad or mean remarks to, I am sorry. To the mods who do a great job around here, I am sorry.

I will do my best to behave, and stay out of potential conflicts on the board.

I hope everyone has an amazing boating season this year, and a Happy Easter tomorrow!

Part of my problem is I've spent years on quite a few crude, more aggressive message boards where my attitude wasn't the worst. That doesn't make it right though, each place is different and I need to abide by the rules or get tossed out on my keister. I've made some great friends here, and want to make more.

Not sure if I had a revelation. I did hook up with an old friend, and as kids we both took some wrong paths. He is helping me build my wealth with real estate, and he is inspiring to me, because of his past deeds he feels the need to be positive, and help people in every aspect of life. I'd like to be more like him!

I find money is a very poor measure of success.
When Mother Theresa was asked about the crushing poverty in India she replied " I see plenty of spiritual poverty in America".

The best of life is absolutely free.
I used to make a lot more money, the strange thing is I couldn't afford a boat.!

Hey Scott, good for you! Have always enjoyed WHAT you had to say ... just would sit back, shake my head, and say, if only he could say it a little softer, it would be understood my others. You are not in need of a complete overhaul ... just a little tweak here and there. And the truth be told, we can all stand to evaluate ourselves from time to time and do a little tweaking of our personal lives. To value the people that are closest to us, to be a little more giving and compassionate.

Scott, I'm really happy to see this post. I know you're a great guy and wouldn't want to see you leave. Having said that, there isn't one of us, myself included that hasn't typed exactly whats on our mind at one time or another. A day or two later, you re-read that post and cringe. You wish you could take it back, but its too late.

Your a big man for apologizing. Thanks for reminding us all not to take out our inner agressions on this board. When we're in a state of mind that presents an angry, condesending, or argumentative post, we all need to take five and return to the keyboard with better thoughts.
