It doesn't make a difference, the vanes will correct themselves directionally speaking as the impeller is new however it is looking at it from the top, I believe it is clockwise.

Thanks for verifying. The old impeller actually looked just as good as the new. I'm taking the day off tomorrow to go on a twelve mile bicycle ride to clear my head.

The motor won't be pumping water upon your return persistence is the only thing that will fix it.
