I purchased a can of T-9 "Boeshield" made by Boeing last summer. I thought I would pass on the results I found. It definitely leaves a LASTING waterproof coating wherever it is applied.Spray a little in a cloth and wipe down the SS and Alum. rails, seat posts etc. You will be suprised at the shine and protection.Boating stores sell it for about <br />9$, yea it's 3x the $ of WD-40,but it works, fantastic, great for electrical panels. Sounds like snake oil, Try it.I have nothing to do with the co!!It can be found on the web also

It was a slight odor, but not as loud as WD-40.I use it all the metal, instead of wax.
