I've got a 1950's model Hiawatha that I've been searching for a prop to fit. It's model #250MI25-7973A. I had what I thought was a good lead from Ebay, but he sent the wrong one and has been giving me the run-around since. Last time I do an off Ebay deal with an Ebay seller. Does anyone know of a good source for these old props and perhaps a site to cross-reference the other names this motor was sold under?

Thanks for your help!

Surf over to www.aomci.org and post your model number there to get the motor ID'ed, and ask about prop options. Then post a wanted ad on their free classifieds. Also check their chapter/clubs page, there may be a bunch of old outboard guys close to you who can help.

Yep, aomci's Webvertize is the place to go. But for your information, that is a 1952 motor, made by Gale. It is a Gale model 5D10, made 1951-53. Sold under a bunch of brand names, including Sea King, Sea Bee, Buccaneer, Royal, Sea Flyer, Sabre, and others.

ALSO, the lower unit and prop are the same as the Johnson TN models. So you have plenty to choose from.
