High low carb speed settings Sears Clinton 1968 3.5hp

Trying to find out what the high and low speed needle settings are by default. Motor runs but having trouble keeping it running and it's hard to adjust the needles in its current state. I can give you guys the model number but it's not gonna make any sense I'm pretty sure it's a 68 sears Clinton made. Does not have the three number typical sears prefix. turn both of them in and back out high speed 1 turn and low speed 1/2 to 3/4 and adjust high speed at fast throttle till optimal carberation is achieved. Then go to idle and adjust low speed again till it purrs nicely.

Thats a 53 Evinrude I was restoring. Ive had about 6 Clintons and 6 or 7 Eskas. Carbs are all about the same.
