High Speed Problem. Not sure of cause

Well what I ended up doing was taking the lower carb off the block. When I took the float bowl off the bottom of the carb I was able to stick a paper clip through the jet and when I did so, it pushed out a real small piece of rubber out into that middle circle inbetween the two jets. So I am thinking that's a pretty good guess of the cause of the half way clogged jet. With the carb off the block is there anything else I should do before putting it back on? Spray some WD40 through the jets maybe...(would WD40 hurt the jet anybody think). The carbs were rebuilt a year ago fyi.

WD40 won't hurt a jet. Could also consider a nice blast of carb cleaner which would help break down any varnish/crap that has gotten in since the rebuild.

if you haven't already done so, it would be wise to replace all the fuel lines with new ethanol resistant ones
