ok, need to know how the best way to do something, i was removing some more epoxy from the transom area found out there was more to remove and i put a hole the size of a quater in the bottom whats the best way to go about filling this hole? i dont see how i am going to get poly to stay in there, and i dont wanna was up a buncha mat and throw that in there.

when you glass the transom in. run your cloth on over the hole, then marine tex the exterior.

you can also....if you want..... fill the hole somewhat with peanut butter....(cabosil)....then glass over it.....then the marine tex from the out side

Or, feather the hole out on the inside; tape some saran wrap to outside, pour in 1/8" of gelcoat, then glass it as you do the rest.
