A good tip on these is that the Registration numbers are usually not shown in the pics . . .

I say flag them and flag them often. You have more balls than me to scam the scammers. Click the flag it option on the right hand side of the Craigslist window. If they are legit, they can always post it again.

There are a lot of GREAT deals on craigslist, There are also a lot of SCAMS! Just be carefull. Anything to do with a money transfer is a scam. If it's too good to be true, well you know!

I have bought all of my power sports/snowmobiles, etc and current boat off of Craigs List. I find people who advirtise there are very reasonable from my experience. The only frustrating part is realizing how much cheaper stuff is down south when using a Craigslist companion tool that shows you all the states listings combined. The scamers are obvious. Nobody gives you something for nothing.

Just be aware that many of those "good deals" on boats (and cars) from southern states are boats that have been damaged in one of the recent hurricanes and patched up for re-sale....
