Well I had both of yesterdays games streamed in on the laptop while actually watching them on TV. Worked great although picture size a little small. (beggars can not be choosers) so I should be all set for Tuesday. I will be at the plant for the bronze medal game but will be at the hotel for the gold medal game.
Switzerland never gave up and it showed in the result. What a great game to watch especially the Swiss tying goal with 32 seconds left. Then the out of the blue overtime winner with about a dozen seconds to go. The Russians seemed as though they were resigned to a shoot out.

USA dominated their game and got a well deserved win.

Let's see what happens today !!!!

In my opinion the game between Canada and the Swiss was not as easy for Canada as the score makes it look. But never the less a win is a win. Now off to the gold metal round. Who will it be?

Canada definitely needed to brush up on connecting in front of the net a bit more....particularly Khadri.
I agree Rob about the score discrepancy...it felt a little closer than that. Perhaps if they had potted a couple more to keep their momentum and attitude up a bit.
Now, that U.S vs. Sweden game.....currently the U.S is ahead 1-0. If the U.S wins they advance to the Gold medal game. If they lose, they head to the bronze medal game.
Sweden, like the U.S is a strong team so it's going to be an interesting Tuesday afternoon.

Sweden 1 USA 1 right now. I have to get to bed as I am up at 3 a.m. for a 12 hour drive.

I bet in the near not to far off future, this series will be any ones game. All of the teams seem to have a good team and are competitive. Would that be something to see all teams equal.

It's going to be a very, very good, competitive game....Canada vs. the U.S in the Gold medal game.

goals 36 seconds apart high to the glove side ....brings the americans to a 2-1 lead over the canadians with 5 mins remaning in the first period....

the goals are fast and furious....the canadians have just tied the game

Great first period...all tied up 2-2 but Canada is going into the 2nd period shorthanded. The first penalty (charging) was a bunch of bulls__.
Regardless, everyone is on tonight!!!!
Fasten your seatbelts...things are going to speed up!!
