I use it all the time with epoxy in woodworking. Great stuff. Not sure with GelCoat & poly resin.

Your good to go. Just make sure you break it up before mixing gel into it ( using a scrap of screen works good to do this ).

Hi guys;

Well, I thinks I have been successful. I'm up to 600 grit and you can't hardly see the patch.

If I want to fill that hole you can see in the picture, should I clean the new gel with acitone?

Nothing special. A damp rag would be fine.

Using a micro fiber towel to wipe off your residual compound ( after buffing ) works great though .
