Hole in One!

Well, after 21 yrs of serious playing golf, I finally got my first hole in one last Sat 3/10!

The lucky event occurred on hole# 12 at Twin Shields Golf Club in Dunkirk, MD. Played about 147 yds with a knock-down 7 iron (was real windy & had to keep it pretty low).

Pic below is my big behind pulling THE actual ball out of THE actual hole & holding THE actual club! One of the guys I was playing with always carries a camera - for just such an emergency.

I got away cheap. There were only a few guys in the clubhouse when I got in & one of them was the asst pro -he bought ME one!

My friend got a hole-in-one once. He has since quit golfing. Said he wanted to go out with bang!

Well, I'm not ready to quit just yet, bro chris! I'm on a quest to shoot par or better - came close a few times (4 over - 74 is my best at the home course). Problem is, it's like a drug...the more you use it the more of it you need!
