OK this is my first time putting anything out there.I have been a reader for a while but now i have a new project. I bought a 18ft Jestercraft last year with a 120 looper. Boat is a 85? engine is a 93. Boat was solid no soft spots. When pulling it this summer to powerwash bottom i caused a tear or slit in the bottom towards the stern about half way between the keel and the side.I didnt notice it until i just pulled it for the winter 2 weeks ago. Also i was getting some water in the bilge it seemed only when under power it looks like this tear in the glass was scooping the water into the boat. Not alot but enough to cause pump to kick on. It seems to be a section of 12x12 inches that has delaminated from wood hull.THis boat was built on Chincoteage island and is also called a Chincoteage scow.Any ideas how to make repair would be great.
