My 89 115 hp has had the oil injection removed...no problem....however i noticed that each of the filters (at the carbs) has a small threaded hole in it....is this where the oil was injected? do they need to be plugged?
Also, the data plate seems to be missing.unless I am looking in the wrong place?

Have not ever seen the carb filter your talking about, however the oil was injected into the fuel line just ahead of the fuel pump. Not real oil injection like is implied just premixing

Thanks for that info...I am assuming these are filters...they are right at the carb, the fuel line is attached here
