holley carburetor wondering what to do next

Looking at the picture again, I may have been wrrrrronnnn, mistaken, about the accelerator pump linkage not being there

I guess the best thing to do would be get a small boat with a big motor - so I can use this carburetor:joyous:

I was thinking a 750 cfm was on the large size. I can tell you from personal experience how a too large carburetor makes a nice engine near useless. I installed a 850 double pumper mechanical secondaries on my '72 Dodge 340 engine (it was free). I has to feather the throttle just to get it moving. Bigger in not better with carbs.

The only way you could get away with this carb, is if it were vacuum secondaries. If not, look for something else. You will avoid serious disappointment. BUT, the carb isn't bad, just too many cfms for your engine. JMHO
