I purchased a boat to get the trailer for another. It is a late 60s or early 70s Holsclaw in great condition. It has 8" diameter wheels with a 4 hole 4 inch bolt patern (100 mm is 3.93" and won't interchange, darn). Chevy Vega, Buick Skylark, Pontiac Sunbird had 13" wheels with this bolt patern, but all the junkies in our area have hulked cars of this era. Six Roblees wants 44 bucks a wheel (plus tires). Does anyone have an alternate source for wheels with this lug pattern? All modern (80's and up) 4 bolt wheels are 4 X 100mm.
I'm exploring this because I tow a couple hundred miles one way once a year for crab season in the San Juan Islands and I always see these 'little wheels' parked alongside the road with bad rubber/bearings/both. I replace bearings regularly as well as repack each fall prior to winter bed time.
Thanks
Dave
