Honda 1997 - 50hp

I'm looking to buy this motor, do you have any advices? Is it safe buy?

When did start the production of it? Is it still the same engin today?

I'm planning to use it for waterski, will it have as much guts as my old 1977 70hp rude? And what about top speed? The rude gives me 26 to 31mph depending of the prop I use.

I have a feeling you will be a little dissapointed with that nice little Honda.You will feel the 20 HP hit as well as the hole shot torque.
