Honda 5 hp charger and sealed battery ok?

Will the output of a Honda 5 hp outboard work on a sealed/maintenance free battery, or is the voltage too high? I know it's 3.75 A, but I haven't been able to find anything about the voltage output or application.

Yes it will work.You'll hardly notice the input but as long as the oil light is lighting up that little guy is charging away as best it can.

Okey dokey. Thanks. I was a little concerned about the charging voltage difference between sealed and flooded batteries.
