honda 8 hp 2006 low thrust

this outboard only gives me minimal forward thrust, and only at low rpm. barely enough to push the catalina 25
When I increase throttle the rpm's go wild and I get no thrust-almost as if I'm in neutral. Is this hopefully something simple? thanks

Spun prop hub. Time for a new prop. Specify a high-thrust, low-pitch model for your sailboat.
