I have a 1999 Honda BF90, when I go from idle neutral, to in gear full trottle it bogs down and sometimes dies. I can put it in gear and slowly accelerate and it works fine. I have had the carbs cleaned and the engine tuned up, but didn't help with the problem. I noticed that the dashpot isn't working. I changed out the vacuum hoses with new hoses. That didn't help, I also check to see if I was getting any vacuum from the carbs and there wasn't any vacuum. I have also sychronized my carbs, with my vacuum gauge set up. I pulled a vacuum on the dashpot and it worked. So the dashpot is working, but there isn't any vacuum going to it. Is there a filter that goes on this honda which might increase resistance to create more vacuum? Has anyone had this problem before? I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks.
