I have a 2008 Honda BF115. Boat sat up all winter with fuel in it. I added Stabalizer when I put it up, but when I started it this year, it idled fine but as I took off to go to the gas pumps to put new gas in it it died. Finally started but would only idle. That got me back to dock. I drained fuel completly and added 5 gallons of fresh fuel and 2 cans of sea foam. I tried to start until the battery went dead but would only idle a couple of times for 5 seconds tops.

Local repair shop says they have three week backlog. I was thinking of pulling the injectors myself and cleaning them. I did not know if there was a lot involved in that or if I should leave it to the pros?

Does anybody have any suggestions or alternatives?

First you will need to isolate down to those injectors.Take a fuel sample right out of that vapor separator and look for any water contamination.High pressure fuel pump pressure should be around 40 psi and remember all the filters you have after the the intial water separator that you ought to have especially that high pressure filter.
