Aloha everyone, i have a 19' boat with twin 1997 Honda bf45a 4 stroke outboard's with honda 4 blade prop's with 11.4 x 10 props on them. One of my props is bent pretty badly on one blade and less so on another, so was looking for replacement. whats best size/pitch prop for this motor ? i use it mostly for trolling at 7-8 mph but want to be able to get up and go if i need to. I had the boat out last weekend and it took approx. 3/4 w.o.t. to get it up on a plane at approx. 4,200 - 4,500 rpm
so wanted to hear suggestions for what would give me the best fuel economy on the troll since that's what i will be doing 90% of the time, but still want some decent speed for when i have to get home before dark or if storm is approaching. thank you for your time and help. aloha

If you read the stickys at the top of the prop forum and get us the details requested we can help you.
As far as fuel economy excellent tuning and a careful setup will do as much or more than prop selection.
But your information will help tell about your setup and if a prop change is in order.
