I have an older (90s) Honda BF8 as the kicker on my boat. It runs great, but the spring that is supposed to push the tilt lever in when the tilt/run lever is set to "tilt" either is missing or damaged. I've looked at the factory service manual and am having a difficult time making sense of the drawings, so I am not sure where this spring should be!
If anyone on here has a BF8, BF9.9, BF15, or BF20 and could post a photo of this assembly or offer any insight I would really appreciate it.
