I bought a Lowrance Ep 60r Fuel Flow Probe and want to install it.
Sounds pretty easy on the paper.
Just need to hook it up to my lowrance NMEA200 network.

My question is.
Lowrance recommends to have the sensor installed between the fuel filter and the motor.

Would that be okay to install it right outside the fuel tank? so it would be between the fuel tank and the fuel filter.

The reason why? it is much easier to do it that way.

Any inputs on this?

Cheers,

This is a fuel injected engine with a pressure regulator that returns fuel right back into the vapor separator.Monitoring that fuel flow gets a little difficult with that format as you will see much more use than you are actually consuming.

That is great help...so I should install it between the fuel vapor separator and the engine to get accurate numbers.

Thank you again.
