would like to have a tach for my 1973 65hp Johnson. where do you attach the sender wire to the motor? and the Faria tach has pole settings. what pole setting does it need to be on?
Look at the wiring terminal strip See the yellow wires with grey stripe? Tach connects to those, and ground. But you shouldn't have to go there. There is a grey wire (and ground) in the remote control. Same thing.
