Need somebody with some experience on Yamaha motors.I'm trying to hook a water pressure gauge up to a 40 yamaha.I was wondering where the hose connects on the motor?Thanks for any help!
I just put one in my Johnson 115, and I put a "T" in the tell tale hose. It worked OK, but I only had 1/2 the pressure that I should....which makes sense.
The tell tale seems useless to me, so I took the "T' out and just ran the tell tale output directly into the gauge...now I have correct pressure at idle and at speed.
If you don't have a tell tale hose, you can usually look for a plug in the water jacket to remove or you can drill your own hole.
