Hi, I'm replacing all my drain hose and bilge pump hoses, I was given a spool of 3/4 ID shields multiflex hose. I've read that I need to use a hose cuff, I haven't been able to find a part number or where to order. I would like to use this hose as it was a good deal (free) I have about 50ft of hose to replace, 4 cockpit drains and 2 bilge pump hoses. All drains are above the waterline, so I'm safe using this hose.

The hose has a helical imbedded inside, so I don't thing a regular clamp is the correct clamp to use.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I just did a google search, and it looks like West Marine suggests stainless steel hose clamps.

Hello Paw..

You should be fine m8.. just Double SS clamp your fittings. ( not too tight on those plastic fittings )

As with ALL hoses etc. inspect every time you use the boat.

Most boat users ( or big buckets with holes, gas, electric, and hoses ) dont really adheare to the warnings of Checking out your stuff before you use it. I hope that Iboaters are not in the Most Catagory :) .

YD.
