1982 Johnson model #j10elcns sn#e5605615 have checked old water pump installed new one very little trickle out pee hole gets hot quickley.where is the water thermostat? bad head gasket?have blown out pump riser tube ,pee hole tube, pee hole 90 BAFFELD!!!!!!

Haven't broken anything! Just used compressed air to blow things out

The water tube grommet may be restriction water flow, requires powerhead removal.

Mr Bill<br /><br />Check the riser tube for length. If you had problems seperating the lower unit you may have straighten out the tube which means it is now bottoming out on the lower unit restricting the amount of water it can pick up. This happened to my 9.9 johnson.
