Re: Hot Weather

Never too hot! I never worry about overheating issues. If you can't boat when it's hot when can you boat. If I had off today and tomorrow I would definately be on my boat.

NEVER too hot ! I M H O as long as the water you are boatn' in is swimable.. Ya know, no sharks, sewage etc. Mechanically either [again IMHO] You drive your car in all temps, with no cool water supply, why not a boat with an endless supply of cool [relativley] water. I guess it depends on your boat how long your season is though, if I could boat year round, I might sit out the really hot days. But you and I dont have that luxury..

It's never too hot for boating . . . well, maybe if it got to the point of water boiling. Seriously, nothing much happens to a boat at 100 degrees that doesn't happen at 90 degrees.

Interesting... "Too hot to go boating"

Strange... I recognize the individuals words, but the way they are ordered, I just can't seem to make sense of it. "Too hot to go boating". I can't seem to make sense of it.

Re: Hot Weather

Only things we really gotta have in hot weather is a Bimini top, sunscreen and plenty of cold drinks! The motors don't know the difference in temps...Good Luck!

You can always make the family go at 5 am....

And there's that country song, a guy sitting in a bar one afternoon, saying:
"Too hot to fish
Too hot for golf
Much too cold to go home."

Re: Hot Weather

If I have to stand at the back of the boat to eat my chicken and drink a beer to stay cool then it is just right for boating.. Love it hot.. But the wife doesn't like the heat. But for the boat and motor I can't imagine it ever being too hot to run.
