Hour Meter on 2007 Yamaha 15hp 2 stroke?

Any ideas where could I source an electronic hour meter for this engine in Canada? Next question is where do I attach?

Mercury offers one that has its own permanent battery and a sensor wire that wraps around a plug wire. They are small enough to easily fit under the hood and will work on anything that has a sparkplug, battery or not.

I found a SenDec meter that Cabelas sells. Anyone have experience with this particular meter or vendor (Sendec)?
