Does anyone one know where to find the hour meter on a 1990 Carver Santego 2767. I looked and looked, but I can't see them anywhere.

Someone at a Christmas dinner said there are always hour meters on Carvers and they are usually in the bilge.
It is twin 4.3l Mercs...

I guess they never owned a boat before.

Alot of boats didn't come with them.

With gasser's I highly doubt they would be in the engine bay

On the dash.

The only other way to find out would be to plug in the ECM (if equipped).

Looks like this:

Re: Hour meter

My Chris Craft's was in the tachometer. My Four Winns doesn't have any. Needed a scan tool to find the hours during the survey. You might or might not be able to find out at all, depending on what electronics there are on your engines (1990).

Re: Hour meter

My '88 SeaRay had one on the port side motor box bulkhead. Ir was an I/O and you needed to remove the motorbox to see it.
