House battery?

I just bought a 1996 Chris Craft 21' Concept Bowrider. We had the boat gone over by a marine mechanic before we purchased it. We're the 3rd owner. The only issue he came up with is that the "house battery" positive connection wire is missing, (and the battery), and it's so far, less than obvious where it is or exactly what it connects to from the battery? Without it we seem to have no running lights, horn, stereo or deck lights. Might anyone have a answer to my issue?

If a “marine mechanic” can’t figure it out in person how are we to figure it out on the internet?

FWIW: Batteries typically get wired into the battery switch.

Better question…. What happened to the cable and why was it removed?

Where you at? Would be nice if people would fill out their profile so we could direct you to the proper place to look at it. Any good marine mechanic that has ABYC training should be able to figure it out. A run of the mill mechanic may not know what to look for.
