1 x 6 gallon tank(original OMC) + 1 x 1 gallon spare tank. Haven't finished it yet, been out only 3 times since we got the boat 2 weeks ago. No idea how much the 1970 60 HP Johnson uses

One neighbor has a 20' toon with a 90 Yammy on the back. He gets approximately 2 mpg with it. It's usually well loaded and he's not afraid of the throttle..
How often do you use yours?

The main tanks is 92 gallons and the aux is another 47 gallons.

If the fish are local figure 30 gallons a morning on the troll. If we have to run to the fish you can double that.

If fishing offshore, figure at least 100 gallons a day.

One 6 gallon. Seldom carry a reserve anymore since I got a good sense of my useage, but I have a 2.5 gallon can I stuff under the bow by the old 6 gallon metal can.

All day fishing usually is 3-5 gallons useage, only one gallon to a couple gallons if using the electric to troll. Need a new electric...

"Do you smell something hot? Like electrical?"
"I was just about to ask you that!"
"Hey- the trolling motor's on fire!"

It gets used every weekend, both days, from mid may - late October. With a whole week thrown in a couple of times. We typically just use it to putter around and hang out at the sandbar. We tend to use one of the other boats for high speed cruising or watersports.

Re: How big is your boats tank

My 21' Marlin bowrider with 260 HP Mercruiser (350 Chev) has two 20 Gal tanks... Actually think they're a couple more than 20 each. In any event, running around the river I might burn 10-15 gals max per outing, or 30 max per weekend if out both days. If I do a bunch of watersports it'll burn a fair amount but since gas was pricey last summer I did a lot of anchoring off an island, or trailer boat to water, drive boat to waterfront eatery. Those days 3-4 gals burned maybe.

And to think, I filled both tanks to the brim at the end of last summer thinking I was real smart, buying it while it was cheap!
