How bout a happy feel good thread on how much you saved $ ?

pg&e was $28.56 this last month!!!! yayyyy!! And I tell my son, everytime we get below $35, we get dinner out! Helps to have free gas fireplace to heat our 2 bed 2 bath 870 sq ft apartment, and got an almost newish pc from work that uses much less energy. And shutting all off when not home!! Also cook at home, try to brown bag lunch, redbox dvds $1.00, netflix $15.00 month, ,Any more hints?

Store clerk gave me an extra $17.40 in change. When I tried to tell her, she snapped at me and said "you only gave me a fifty, here it is."

Correct change should have been $4.18.

Not really saving any money, but it put a smile on my face.

I saved $100.00 from the trim shop by making the little piece of fabric to cover under the walk through windshield on my starcraft. All is took was a small piece of canvas, a couple of fasteners an iron and stich free glue. Now no wind tunnel. $5.00 for material.

Painted the bottom of my boat this year...did'nt have to pay someone else for that.
