how can i find out the year of the engine with the model# off of the block

the coin sized plate on the block is g3319519 . how can i decifer this model # into a year. thanks for any help

That number is the engine serial number. The only way to find out the model from that would be to have BRP look it up in the archives. Take a look at any part numbers that you can see on anything and post them. I might be able to cross them to year used and get a close guess. Hope this helps
