G Dane you the man I bid and I had better win!

I am glad I did not have to take my top deck off but the windshield is bending the console something fierce. I have finally poured the last of the foam into the boat! As soon as I seal up the seating areas I can hold up the consoles!
I will scrub it and compound it I will hopefully install that pinstripe. Thats gonna look good.

HI OC, I'm reading here and didn't catch an answer to why you need a hole from under your hull to the bilge. Here you go, as per my perspective on this:
First, what if your deck does fail, somewhere down the road? The biggest hole in your boat is right on top. That means that every splash, raindrop, and spilled cup of coffee is going to hit the floor. If you end up with a hole-any hole, it's going to go down under the floor. You can't afford to trap that water, or you'll have dryrotted sub-floor, etc...
Secondly, you beached that boat in one of these pictures. That isn't a big deal, but I'm dealing with a boat of similar size that shows all of the stress from beaching it over the years. If you ever hit a rock on that front end, and develop so much as a hairline crack in your hull, you're bound to end up with some water under the floor. A hole to the bilge will give you simple drainage, and it's easier to put it in now than to go cut your floor out again to do it later. Good luck with the rest of the floor. After I fix the HOLES I cut in my hull while I was cleaning up the old fiberglass, I'll be putting a new floor in mine. Ah, what's another half day of work at this point, though?
