We ended up mounting a winch post or bow stop on the boat I mentioned in an earlier post. I'll feel much better now when we go to tow the boat home. The previous owner of another boat that we now own came to an abrupt stop while towing that boat, even though the boat trailer had a winch post on it the boat did shift to the right but it did not move forward.
