how cold can you gluv it?

So here in Upstate NY we are into our first snow events; 40s-50s during the day, 30s and worse at night. I am working on my starcraft in my tight but unheated/non insulated steel garage. I have a 10,000 BTU space heater for when I am working but....how warm does it need to be to apply gluv it?

I could keep heat lamps pointed down in the hull...but I doubt that would keep the surface temp in the 50s....

Do I have to wait til Spring?

personally i would wait tell you had a nice day out, you might get a Indian Summer again up there, but its not looking good as its oct already lol, mosly its gonna get that good white shuff with the 7 foot bearms on the sides of your driveway.

I know the feeling, i lived in Watertown for 6 years

Directly from the Gluvit site " Gluvit hardens overnight. Allow 48 hours at 72°F for maximum strength. Working time and cure will be longer at lower temperatures, shorter at higher temperatures. Note: If ambient temperature is below 50°F, pre-condition Gluvit and work area to at least 55°F."

You actually may be getting closer to a spring project unless you can tow the boat to a heated garage for a day or so.

Thanks guys, I couldnt find that passage on the gluv it site. We are going to get a 66 degree day here coming up (syracuse area) and I know with my heaters and tarps I can leave it curing in the 50s....and I dont care how long it takes to cure just really want to get this part done so I can do the new floor/carpet etc regardless of temp.
