I have a 14 foot craft and I pick up an 15 horse motor for it but its a long shaft motor and it seem to set to deep in the water..(boat wont plain out ) so I made the back of my boat 3in taller and the boat plain a lot better but dont seem to plain out like I think it should I had an older 10 horse on it befor and it plain out better and ran faster.. were should the motor sit for hight and were should the prop sit for depth? I have messed with the pitch of the motor and thats not helped ...much<br /><br />Should of never sold the 10 horse!!!!!
