How did you all come up with your screen names?

There are some very curious screen names on this board, and I was just wondering how you all came up with them.<br /><br />Well obviously my name is Nathan, Im just not that original as some of the members.

Hey Nathan, theres nothing wrong with that.<br /><br />I use Spinner bait Nut cause that is about all I ever fish with is Spinner Baits.

this post has been before.. altho it's a good one..<br /><br />well,, it's been my nickname since i was kid.. <br /><br />my POP used to tell me he'd gonna take me crabbin'.. then maybe i'd be good-for-somethin'... CRAB BAIT... he'd used to say affectionately..( i think )

"klondike" a nickname given to me wwaayyy back in Junior High School. A substitute teachers' VERY slight bas%$^%ization of my last name.<br /><br />has stuck through the decades, so brought it with to iboats. otherwise, too many guys named "Dave"

Fishbuster has been a nickname of mine from the first Ghostbusters movie. I am sure you can guess what it refers to and Peter is my first name because for some reason just plain fishbuster was taken.

Flahthead, Name was put on me many a-moon ago because I always had an old flathead Harley around, Still do to this day. Had to add the extra h because flathead was already in use.

My son (youngest) gave me mine. Suppose cause I work on so many outboards. My name really is Jim. He also bestowed she herselfs nickname, mudcatmary cause all she catches is cat fish. Her name really is Mary. And every one knows how Spinner Bait got his (Bubba). It were the aleuns what gave it to'im.

<br /><br />She is more than a 12Footer.She is a family hierloom.<br />1953, 12Foot Lonestar "Sportster" semi Vee, with 1978 Merc 7.5HP.<br />This little boat has been stolen, wrecked, sunk, recovered, rebuilt, repowered in 1978.<br />Like me, she has been thru hell, and is still around. She is a year younger than me.

Fell and scooped up some mud while in college. Of course, beer had nothing to do with it. It has stuck along with the mud. One of my four or five nicknames that have been given ans stuck with different people including Big Dog, Niel (Pronounced Ny - L), and others I would not post.

I have no idea why I came up with snapperbait.. Guess cause I like to fish for snapper and I usually have a freezer full of bait ready to go at a moments notice... I dunno?

Quicksilver has always just been in my family I guess, it was my dads CB handle and then people just started calling me that on the cb when I got my first radio, the DJ part of it came about when I started DJing at a local nightclub and most of the people that came in there knew me from the CB club.

On all the other boating forums my name is <br />11 footer after my 1975 11'whaler. I did not use that name here because I saw that there was a 12 footer, So I used my first name with the first letter of my last.

I gotn my name from that thar Jimmy Bo Bob. <br /><br />Yousn see, one night we weren out in the pasture just a watchn them thar cattle and them thar aliens came to get me and I whooped up on there little aliens a$$ and after that Jimmy Bo Bob called me BUBBA.<br /><br />Thats short for BEAT UP BAD, BAD ALIENS
