That's funny Andy, really. :D

My lady could use both while cruising the ICW at 15kts and get ran over by somebody (like me) doing 25kts. I wish she had blinkers and a rear view mirror, and maybe a seeing-eye-dog.

Everything she has learned is from me! That scares me.

Haha, when my lady is driving I kind of wish my boat just had a Jerry Jones Dallas Cowboys Jumbotron screen that says LOOK THE &$*% OUT for everyone else out there!!! :D

Hell I'll add to the thread anyways. When we make aquariums and such out of Acrylic and plexi we have to "chemically weld" the panels together. Glue won't hold. It actually chemically softens the plastic and bonds it together.

Perhaps it could be used in a application like this as well

I'd suggest a temporary application first, as you may find that you don't want one all the time, in the way, or that a car-type rear view is useless on a boat. Then start drilling and mounting.
The best one I had was a clip-on convex, about 2" by 1" designed to clip on a car visor, to see the babies in the back seat. Iclipped it on to the windshield frame only when towing.

As for age of the topic, this one is useful for many boaters, unlike the useless when old posts like "should I buy this boat?" or "How often do you use your boat?" posts.
