How do I fill oil for power tilt trim?

I have a 1979 rinker model unknown boat tag says v10 but has a 140 hp mercruiser and trim not working all you hear is clicking at the back of the boat.There is what looks like oil leaking from one of lines but unsure how to check fluid or what kind it takes, Thanks
