Outboard was off and trolling motor doing 2-3mph. Forgot to pull motor up and the propeller scrapped along the shallow rocky (small pebbles) bottom..
Did a check and found out, when motor is off and in neutral, the propeller does not spin freely. there is quite a resistance to it. When I spin the prop with my hands, the flywheel does not spin, BUT if i spin the flywheel(when i pull cord too), the prop spins too. WTH? IF i put my foot on the prop, i can spin the flywheel and prop won't spin. Just afraid water may not provide enough resistance to the prop and when i fire her up, she may want to go forward...
Remember this is in "N". Gear is somehow partially stuck in forward.. shifts into gears easily as always..
